Dear EMJ Community,

As we wrap up another memorable school year, we want to take a moment to reflect on the growth, strength, and incredible achievements of our students. This year, they have shown perseveranceresilience, and a love of learning both within our classrooms and out on the land in our community.

To our Grade 6 students—thank you for the positive leadership you have shown and the many ways you’ve contributed to our school. We wish you all the best as you step into junior high, and we know you’ll carry the spirit of EMJ wherever you go.

We also say fond farewells to several valued and exceptional members of our staff. Congratulations to Mrs. D and Mrs. Higgs on their well-earned retirements, and to Mr. Strother as he transitions to his new role at Wood's Homes School. Ms. Wall is off to a new adventure at Dr. Gordon Higgins School, where we know she will make a significant impact for her students. Our deep thanks to Ms. McParlandMrs. Zoo and Ms. Olson, whose dedication and strong connections with students and staff have made a lasting impact. We also express our gratitude to Ms. Nina and Mrs. Teresa for the unwavering support they’ve offered to so many students. You have all made a meaningful difference in our students’ lives! And a special good luck to Mr. Anthony as he begins his journey toward becoming a teacher—we’re excited to welcome him back to EMJ next May!

Now, as summer arrives, it’s time to rest, recharge, and enjoy all the adventures the season has to offer. We wish every student, family, and staff member a safe, happy, and restful summer. We’ll see you all back at EMJ on September 2 for another great year together.

Warm regards,

Mrs. Clark on behalf of The EMJ Team
