This week, our Division 1 students have been busy learning their songs and practicing instruments for our upcoming Winter Concert. If you have a child in Division 1, please mark your calendars for December 11 at 6:00 pm. Our Kindergarten to Grade 3 students are excited to share a collection of festive songs with you!

In other classrooms, students have been practicing their math facts and writing about the first snowfall of the year.

A reminder that Parent-Teacher Conferences are next week. Please be sure to sign up for a time to meet with your child’s teacher on either Thursday evening or Friday morning. We look forward to connecting with all of you.

Scholastic Book Fair: December 1–4

Students will have the opportunity to browse and purchase books during their regular library class. The book fair will also be open for parents on Thursday, December 4 from 6:00–7:00 pm. We invite all families to stop by—this is a wonderful chance to pick up books your children will love!

Gingerbread House Decorating Night: December 4

School Council invites all EMJ families to a festive evening of gingerbread decorating on Thursday, December 4 from 6:30–8:00 pm. Come create a gingerbread masterpiece together! Cookies and light refreshments will be provided.

Quick Tip: Bringing a cookie sheet makes it much easier to carry your decorated house home.

Registration forms have been sent home and emailed via School Messenger. Please remember to register by December 2.
