Budget and the 2024-25 School Year 

Now is the time of year that we start work on budget and staffing for next year. It is very important for us to have a clear picture of who will be at EMJ to ensure that we budget properly.  

Thank you to those families who have kept us up to date around address changes or potential moves, this is very helpful. If you find that your situation may be changing as we get closer to the summer, please contact the school so that we can keep this in mind.

Thank you to School Council and all volunteers for the great beach-themed dance on the 23^rd. 

Lost and Found 

Missing something? Has your child has returned home without something? When you are at the school at pick-up (after the 2:30 p.m. bell), please come into the boot room to check for the item in our "Lost but not yet found" area.

May 20 – Victoria Day  (no classes) 

May 23 – School Dance (5:30 pm to 7:30 pm – Theme to be announced as determined by Grade 6 Leadership and School Council!)  

June  

June 6  - School Nurse in for Grade 1 immunizations / catch-up immunizations 

June 8 – All Library books due 

June 19 - Grade 6 Social Studies PAT  

June 26 – Grade 6 Farewell  

June 27 – Activity Day and last day of classes  

June 28 – Non-Instructional and Appeals Day  

Fun Lunches / Healthy Hunger  

Popcorn Fridays: May 31; June 7, 14, 21.  

Fun Lunches:  June 20: Pizza Hut  

*Orders must be place five days before the Fun Lunch or Popcorn Friday
